Great American Train Show

Houston Area Live Steamers participates in the Great American Train Show twice a year. This year we had over 200 feet of track with a switched siding and a working signal. Our engines were a club diesel and a diesel owned by member Ken Smith, who provided the motive power when the club diesel was out for repairs for several hours. In addition to these diesels, we had several on display, a mogul owned and being built by Ron Pasley, a 12" scale Fairmont Speeder owned by Kelley Rick, A Japanese Emperor under construction by Cody Crawford, A Shay running on air by Doug Blodgett, and several steam models.
