These photos were shot by Gary Brothers on November 22 using his new digital camera. Gil and Virginia Freitag and Keith Bailey are shown working on Phase 3, laying track up to the N. Swale Bridge. Also shown is a photo of Brent Courtney's new mogul.

Harvest Feast Fun Run

Fun, fun, fun. People came all day long, visited while feeding their faces (see Bobby Bridges and son Raymond), Ken and Betty Smith ran their new Little Mac, some worked a little (see Dave McCarty at Cedar Bend), but trains (at least 11) ran all day long with the last engine put to bed at 10p.m. It was great to see so many new folks come out for the night running.
At the our Club Diesel derailed and caused a lots of folks to put their backs into it. In the end, they resorted to the handy-dandy re-railer.

Chugga Chugga Chili Fest Fun Run
Cold, rainy and windy in the morning but absolutely gorgeous in the afternoon. We had lots of good chili and sweets and everyone relaxed and enjoyed the day. I don't think there was a lick of work done all day.

Work Day January 11, 2003

At long last, we have ironwork over the swale and the south bridge is beginning to take shape. Gary Brothers (unfortunately no photos of Gary) is in charge of erecting the ironwork and has gotten off to a great start with an excellent set of drawings and good design. Just enough ironwork was erected today to make sure that the design will work.
Photos of the North Swale Bridge: These are welded pipe and channel steel assemblies that Ken Smith welded up during the week.
